I was deeply influenced by Isabel Wilkerson’s Caste: The Origins of our Discontent, which provided a framework for me to examine what I had seen and heard among my family and community members. So I’m thrilled to see that policies and conversations focused on anti-caste discrimination are gaining momentum and attention in the United States.
