Last week, many of us celebrated the defeat of a proposed anti-abortion amendment to the Kansas state constitution. News coverage about the proposal’s defeat is making all kinds of predictions about the midterm, but I have my own, rooted in years of work on democracy reform and in a vision for a democracy in our image.
