My 10th grader and I talked about Pride Month in this short, unedited conversation (excuse the NYC apartment noises!). They graciously provided their perspective on the gender binary, how folks can thoughtfully engage as allies, and their continued optimism for the future, despite the endless attacks on women, people of color and LGBTQ communities.
