Although it’s easy to feel hopeless and powerless right now, I hope you can be encouraged by the hope and power that the “uncommitted” campaign represents.
Begun in Michigan, borne from the frustration of voters saddened and disgusted by the genocide of Palestinians, the Uncommitted campaign garnered over 100,000 votes, enough to win a pair of delegates to the Democratic National Convention.
Across the country yesterday, voters made their discontent heard by voting uncommitted or no preference. The numbers are significant and growing…88,000 in North Carolina, 43,000 in Colorado, 45,000 in Minnesota, 54,000 in Massachusetts.
In the state of Washington, the largest labor union is encouraging its members to vote uncommitted in the March 12 primary. In Arizona and Georgia, we are likely to see as much momentum as we did last night.
This is what it looks like to stand in your values, to believe in what is possible, an example that we can find ways to assert power in a system that is archaic and exclusionary.
This is a frightening moment, truly; but I hope these efforts and success remind us that we are the ones who will create the future we want to see.
Use your vote, your voice and your vantage point. We have to leave it all on the field.

Thank you for your note. It is a very scary time for Jews worldwide as well who feel
Shocked and traumatized by the lack of response regarding the massacre and dehumanizing acts of rape and murder that took place. There is place for duality and empathy for all people. I hope as Americans we will strive to promote peace vs supporting terrorism or political agendas.
